The the 90 seconds that there was no announcer, I think it was Max Truce hit a 3, and then Donovan Mitchell hit a 3. And it was like, the place was just fucking going nuts. Yeah. I don't know what it says about me, but every time I watch the heat play, I'm like, Max Cruz is definitely still on that team somewhere. I'm I'm hoping Cleveland can win a series because you know, fun fact, little fun fact, the Cleveland cavaliers, Dan Gilbert has never won a playoff series without LeBron James. But he wrote that Comic Sans letter that told me that they were gonna win a title before LeBron did. Yeah. He's never won a playoff series. Interesting. So, actually, maybe the playoffs haven't started for him. They haven't started. He's never won a playoff series. Yeah. I Cleveland's fun. And, honestly, I think the Magic are fun. They're a little bit young. They They're just kids. They need to 4. They need basketball. Make a couple additions here or there. You know what? They need Point cards. They need Moe Wagner. Yeah. Point point card. Yeah. They oh, for 17 point cards. Tough. Mhmm. That's not great. I'm just excited to watch a series where it just, the total just keeps ticking lower and lower. I think it was, like, 208. Now it's the game 2 is 202. Wouldn't be shocked if we get to, like, the 1 nineties low 1 nineties because they're again, a lot of great defense, but also some not great shooting. Yeah. Okay. Next game we had on Saturday, Suns and T Wolves. Just a general thought to before we talk basketball, the t wolves should just stick with their throwbacks. Those are so clean. The the center court, the the the home whites, they're so clean. Yeah. We go through this. It's, like, cyclical with a lot of teams where you you long for their throwbacks, and then the they are the last team to change up their old uniforms. You know, like, these look corny as hell, and you desperately wanna change. And then 10 years goes by, you're like, damn. Those were way better than these. Right. Because they're I I think their regular ones are just kind of, like, new age, you know, with the font like, the blue and the the lime green kind of thing. Yeah. They just like, Seahawks throwback. They're kinda like Seahawks vibes. The old ones with the, like, solid green. The green that's, like, Ninja Turtle green in your face. Yeah. I like that. This game
Press conference. I don't even know. Like, I've watched it so many times. I've cringed every single time. He went he did the heart emoji to Caitlin Park, asked if Caitlin liked it and then followed up with, one of the weirdest things ever when he said, okay. We'll start doing that to me, and we'll get along just fine. And then and then he, then he Then he wrote a column on it. Yeah. And then he apologized in his column with maybe a weirder column. No. It wasn't as weird as the hard thing, but it was almost as weird. In the column, he was it was just all about him and how weird he is. Yeah. So I'm gonna read just part of it for you here. Okay. He said, what happened was the most me thing ever. In one way. But, by the way, right off the bat, like, him saying, well, that's just that's just kinda who I am. It's just Greg with 3 g. I'm just Greg being Greg. That's all. He says, I'm sort of known locally, comma, sci, comma. Oh. Write it writing out the word psy. Oh. I'm sort of known locally, Sai, for having awkward conversations with people before asking brashly conversational questions. That's his problem. The the conversation was too brashly controversial. No. Conversational. Converse conversational question. He's brash conversational. Yeah. Grassley conversational. Good character trait to have for a reporter. Yeah. By the way, I've done this for years with Colts Coaches Chuck Pagano Rike and Shane Stikin. I've done it with Purdue players, Carson Edwards, and Zack Eddy. I did it with Iu's Romeo Langford, talking to them as people, not as after leads. Notice something about all those names. They all people. They're all people. They're all men. Oh, shit. So he doesn't know how to talk to a woman. I think that that part was clear. Oh, we didn't need, yeah, we didn't need you to write a column that you don't know how to And then he said that he went through all the stages of grief, excuse me, the first two stages of grief after this happened. Okay. Mourning his own passing on as, an interviewer, I guess. Grassley conversational. He said he said denial. I did

I got an answer for you. Okay. Is it better to be up 3 at the end of a game with 3 seconds left or be up 4? This is a tough analytics question that is hotly debated in the math community. Reggie Miller asked this question tonight, and I said to myself, thank god because I've been saying this for years. I'd almost rather be up 3 points than 4 points, big cat. The the best part about Reggie Miller asked me is know why? Why? Tell me. Yeah. I I don't know because I've got a brain injury. Well, so the best part about Reggie Miller asking this question, it was the it was the Lakers, Pelicans game, which we'll get to both games, playing games. But the best part about him asking this question, the situation was the Lakers were up 2 with 2.7 seconds left. They get fouled, and he says out loud, and you could hear his brain, like, turning on out loud. He was like, if you make the first one, you're up 3. Do you try to purposely miss the second one because they
Your true ally. Scottie Scheffler is very happy today. Max Homa is very hungover today Yeah. Because Max is he hasn't drank in a long time. Yeah. He said afterwards they asked him, Max, how are you gonna feel tomorrow when you wake up and you think about this? He says, I haven't drank in a really, really long time, but I've been planning it for Sunday after the master, so I'm probably not gonna feel great. Yeah. So, congrats to Scottie. Scottie was dominant. He was he kicked everyone's ass. He was never really close. He kicked the course's ass. He kicked everyone's ass. He wasn't playing particularly well at times, but he was making crazy chip ins. He was he was hitting the the shot at 9, I think, is really when it was over. When he hit that approach shot to, like, 3 inches, at no point did it feel close. Oberg looked like he Oberg will win. I'm calling my shot. Oberg's gonna win multiple major championships in his lifetime. But, Scottie was just too good. Yeah. Oberg might have won this one if the guy didn't hit the the power bar out of his hand because he was Yeah. Rolling. And then the guy hit the power bar out of his hands, and he double bogeyed. But, yeah, Scottie Scheffler, I think we were fooled, this weekend because going into the masters, it was like Scottie Scheffler, lowest odds for anyone to win since Tiger. He's playing the best golf out of anyone. It's not even close. We were fooled with the wind basically bringing everyone back into a pack on Friday Saturday. And we got into Sunday, and we're like, look at this. And there's 4 guys that are all within a couple strokes, and Scottie Scheffler might might not be able to do this. And, turns out he can play his, like, b minus game and still win by 4 strokes. And he's the best golfer in the world, and it's not close. He's still dominant. Yeah. And we haven't seen there was all that talk about his wife going to labor. Yeah. He said before the final round that he would go to the hospital if she went to labor before he teed off. He didn't it sounded earlier this week like he would've just left on Sunday. In the middle of the round. But then he started thinking about it. He's like, if if I tee off. By the time I get to the course, I start warming up. If she hasn't gone to labor at that point, then I'm gonna stay on the course. Hasn't gone to labor yet.

Remember when we almost interviewed him? Yes. He was getting let out of prison for the, for the memorabilia? I think we've told this story, but PFT and I were approached and told that there was an ad deal where we would literally be in a van picking him up from prison. Uh-huh. And we both were like, I don't know. We usually don't know where the line is. That was a pretty clear line to me. It never never got to the point. It never it was it was just a, thought starter that was presented to us. So it never got to the point where we could officially say no, but we were definitely leaning like, I don't think this is the best. That episode would be doing
